If no other resources are available this office may assist qualified indigent clients in emergency situations who are not able to provide for their basic necessities such as: Rent to avoid eviction, Utilities (electric or water) if in threat of shutoff, Other heat sources: wood/propane/oil/gas/coal, Medications, Medical insurance premiums to cover grave or terminal illness, Burial or cremation. Determinations are made by the Board of County Commissioners and are based upon the household circumstances and in accordance with Idaho Code Chapters 34 & 35.
